Description:

WOOLSERY ENGLISH GOAT CHEESE

This cheese has won many awards including the coveted British Cheese Awards ‘Cheese Lovers Trophy’.

This is a full fat hard goat cheese which is handmade from pasteurised goats milk.  The cheese is naturally matured and develops a rind whilst maturing.

Inside it has a firm smooth texture with a rich full flavour, without that strong goaty taste and is therefore ideal for those who are converting over to a goat cheese for health reasons.  It is made with vegetarian rennet.

It is a very versatile cheese, being a good addition to any cheese board, or it may be used in cooking – suitable for grating.  It may be substituted for any recipe which uses conventional cheddar.

Suggestions

Delicious with crusty bread or crackers - goes well with fruit such as pear or apple.  Makes a tasty cheese omelette.  See recipe section
